HISTORY: Zi Wei Dhou Shu

Zi Wei, also known as the Purple Star, dates back to the Tang Dynasty, and was first recorded by Chen Tu Nan.

In Chinese Astronomy, great importance is given to Polaris, then to a series of stars which all have a direct bearing on all levels of human existance.

These stars are assigned to different areas of life for each individual, and will effect their influences under different modalities.

Amoung the 14 major stars are: Zi Wei, Tian Ji, Tai Yang, Wu Qu, Tian Tong, Lian Zhen, Tian Fu, Tai Yin, Tan Lang, Ju Men, Tian Xiang, Tian Liang, Qi Sha, and Po Jun.

There are 71 additional stars which are also used in Zi Wei.

Each star contains a specific type of energy, and over time brings about diverse events in specific departments of life, also known as 'Palaces'.

According to the tradition, a person's life will unfold depending on how each person reacts to the energetic influences of these stars.
