Charles Saba has been practicing Vedic Astrology, Chaldean Numerology and Chiromancy in the northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC metro area since 1994.

He has studied Astronomy, Astrology, and Numerology since 1975.

His father, an Aeronautical Engineer for the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, played a pivotal role in encouraging the study of a broad range of ancient & modern sciences, from which sparked his life long interest in Philosophy, Astronomy, Astrology, Medicine, and Comparative Religion for the remainder of his life.

By the age of 12, his father had taught him Classical Philosophy, and Father Darius was his professor in Theology for four years.

He completed his university in Medicine, and after meeting Dr Vasant Lad, began the study of Ayurveda, Unani, and Nei Ching.

In 1987, he began his Jyotish education, and had the good fortune of the tutelage of distinguished astrologers such as: Dr KS Charak in Medical Astrology, Narendra Desai in Bhrigu Jyotish, Bepin Behari in Esoteric Astrology, and Vassant Bhatt in Nadi Astrology.

His travels to the Middle East, in search of authentic Chaldean Numerology and Sufi Mysticism, led him to Jerusalem, where he studied under Sufi Shaykh's of the Shadhili, Naqshbandi and Chishti Tariqa.

Charles has also studied martial arts for over twelve years: Tai Chi & Hsing I with BP Chan, Yi Chuan with Yuan P Dong, Hapkido with Chin Il Chang, and is currently a practitioner of Yan Xin Qigong and Swordsmanship.

During this time, he began a systematic study of eastern philosophy. His teachers include: Mantak Chia in Taoism, and Venerable Punadhammo in Buddhism. His interest in Vedanta and Yoga emerged after meeting Devananda Saraswati, and shortly afterwards, became a member of Self-Realization Fellowship.

In 1998 he had the privilege of meeting the incomparable Sri Karve Maharaj, also known as Yogi Karve, and for the following years, Charles has enjoyed the golden opportunity of receiving Jyotish and Vedic instructions from him.

He is currently pursuing his masters degree in Theology, studies the Violin & Lute, and serves as a board member of the Universal Vision Society.
